Joe Yusling of Ida Grove visited Gustafson’s over Sunday. Mr and Mrs W F Hickey spent Tuesday at Cherokee. Gratitude is extended via the Sentinel for kindness at the death of our beloved father, especially to the Ladies Aid and others for floral offerings.
West Elk and East Afton residents visiting relatives in Storm Lake Sioux City and Manchester. A Christmas program planned for Elk District No 4 with Lillian Newcomb teaching. Families relocate to Cherokee for work while flags are raised by Kenneth Martin Gaza and Howard Haight. Otto Bisehel spent part of last week in Aurelia with parents while Otto ran the store.
Michael D. Riner and Miss Bertha E. Frazer wed Thursday at Morningside college in Sioux City. The ceremony was performed by the groom’s brother Rev. Benj W. Riner, with several relatives present. After a brief bridal trip, they will host friends at the groom’s parents’ home.
