The Friendship club plans a combined card and farewell party for Bill and Mrs Otto John and Mrs Irwin and Mr Sherm Nelson at the Afton Community Building on January 11 with jello sandwiches or cake. The S and C Club of the Rebekah Lodge met December 11 at Mrs Earl Covey’s home enjoying muted Christmas music a lighted silver tree and a Christmas lunch with gifts exchanged. A short business session led by Mrs Sig Nelson welcomed Mrs Julia Patrick and a card to former member Mrs Mable Neville was signed. The next meeting is January 8 at Mrs Sig Nelson’s home with officer elections. all members urged to attend.
