American Legion Auxiliary held a Christmas gift exchange at the Community Center with 19 attendees and plans for Veterans Gift Shop December 11 and Veterans Treat Day January 6.
ACC hosts its annual Christmas party at Ken-A-Bob’s in Storm Lake today at 12 30 p.m. with a $1 gift exchange and food donations for Midwest Christian Children’s Home. Aurelia Federated Woman’s Club holds a Christmas luncheon December 13 at 1 15 p.m. at United Methodist Church with program titled Christmas is Love by Mrs. Elmer Boom. Pythian Sisters Temple No 72 meet today with a 12 30 luncheon honoring October November December birthdays followed by the meeting.
The Gahlen Dyslin home hosted a birthday party for Mrs. Gahlen Dyslin and Verlyn Dystin with guests including Mr. and Mrs. Junior Bruns Mr. and Mrs. Dick Martin Jack Bruce and Nancy from Sac City and others. Wayne Gaston and Carl Fuhrman hosted the Horseshoe Card Club gathering with five tables of 500 and top scores by Bertil Peterson and Mrs. Ed Meyer.
