Elmer E. Bleasdale of LeMars visited Mt Olive Tuesday. Raymond and Mrs Sawvell from Huron S D stayed over Sunday in the Chase Sawvell home. A 25e fried chicken supper is planned at the Mt Olive store Wednesday evening December 14. The Mt Olive special meetings closed Sunday with good attendance.
Pitcher township Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting and oyster supper in the Aurelia Community Theatre Friday evening at 6 30. The program includes talks by Miss Orr county superintendent and Pearl Lime HD A and C G Turner county agent plus musical numbers. The men will conduct their annual business meeting.
School notes recount grade by grade progress, attendance, and honors. First grade lists top averages and perfect attendance. second grade notes punctuality and high spelling scores. third grade highlights top readers and 100 percent spellers. fourth grade reports spelling excellence and Civil War study. fifth grade mentions spelling totals and arithmetic reviews. sixth grade lists many A in spelling and geography focus.
