He leaves wife Alma Ruebsam and four children Leo 8 Rosennie 6 Merle 2 Kenneth 5 months, mother Maria Bischel four sisters two brothers and died in Aurelia before moving to Rock Rapids. Funeral services were held at his mother’s home and Arlington M E church with large attendance and floral tributes. Interment in Arlington cemetery. The notice notes Mrs Rubberness death from influenza also affecting her and her baby boy born Friday November 22 and mourned by husband daughter mother and brothers. Arlington South Dakota Sun.
