Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Degen were held Monday August 7 1961 at the Congregational church in Aurelia conducted by Rev. Douglas Ostlund. She died August 1 in Missoula Montana at her daughter Mrs Glen Akers home at age 75 years 1 month 14 days. Music was provided by Mrs Lee Robinson and Mrs Roy Matzdorff with accompaniment by Mrs O C Waddell. Burial
Anna Pietz born June 18 1886 in Afton Township Cherokee County married William Carl Degen January 16 1907. They resided in Elk Township and had daughters Luella and Mabel. Degen died in 1930. Anna later moved to Cherokee and Montana. Survived by daughters grandchildren siblings and nieces.
Immanuel Lutheran Church announces Divine Service at 8 a.m. and Sunday School at 9 a.m. Trinity Lutheran Church notes services at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday School and Bible classes and Junior Choir rehearsals Thursday at 8 p.m. The Methodist Church lists worship at 9 a.m. and Sunday School at 10 a.m with Thursday choir practice at 7:30 p.m. Official Board Meeting Thursday at 5 p.m. Sentinel invites family and organization notices.
