Cherokee 4 H club members went to Ames Saturday for a practice livestock judging contest to help select a squad for the state fair contest. County Agent H Thompson announced the event and named ten participants led by Philip Peterson and the Mummert brothers. A four boy team will be chosen by state judges from those who trained in club judging workouts this summer.
