Insurance Department of Iowa certifies Combined Insurance Co of America Chicago filed sworn statement Dec 30 1949 under chapter 315 and approved to transact casualty lines in Iowa until Apr 1 1951 with total assets 2 329 916.47 and surplus 200 468 752.84. commissioner Sterling Alexander signs June 15 1950 seal present.
The Iowa Insurance Department certifies Columbia Casualty Company of New York is authorized to transact Casualty and Allied Lines insurance in Iowa until April 1, 1951. The sworn statement dated December 31, 1949 shows assets of 15,372,662.60 and liabilities, including a paid-up capital of 1,000,000.00 and a surplus of 4,375,264.40.
