Mrs. Carl J Johnson hosted a July 24 birthday party for Mrs. John W Swanson in Cherokee with 25 guests including seven Chicago relatives. A covered dish lunch was shared and gifts, cards, and a birthday cake by Mrs. Carl J Johnson accompanied the celebration. A July 22 family picnic at John Heschke’s featured relatives from Cherokee Storm Lake Los Angeles Fairview Cedar Falls and Aurelia enjoying lunch and visits.
