Cherokee County Farm Families are invited to Farm Family Night at the Community Center in Cherokee Thursday evening starting at 7.13 featuring live music on WNAN FM 70 by the Sioux City Stockyards Marketeers band, $3 indoor prizes and a free lunch. WNAX and the stockyards sponsor.
The Aurelia Lassies 4-H Club met April 21 in the Farmers National Bank basement. Tammy Cougitt led pledges. An illustrated talk titled What’s on the label followed. Joni Miller presented Fabric Facts with Mrs Roethlyr. Members brought garment labels to discuss material, size and shrinkage. Lunch by Janet Bets and Diane Sprouse and their mothers. Nancy Speer, reporter. Card of Thanks quotes appreciation for support during hospitalization for Marilyn George and family. Special thanks to Rev. Spear.
A note of gratitude from Fred Wieland to relatives and friends for the cards gifts and a plant received while he was in Sioux Valley hospital.
