Claims were audited and bonds approved for J N Kissinger Washta assessor J C Skallberg Liberty clerk E N Spafford Larrabee assessor and A G Bagne Quimby assessor. Meeting adjourned to 830 pm with John Bunn presiding and Geo Wilson attesting.

Second Day's Proceedings of County Board in Early 1908
The county board met on April 1, 1908 with all members present. Claims against the county were examined and allowed. The quarterly county farm steward’s report for the quarter ending March 31, 1908 was presented and approved. The Soldiers' Relief commission report for the first quarter of 1908 was presented and approved. School fund loans approved include Stratton 800, Barnes 2800, Hamilton 1200, Badwin 3000, Holmes 2600. Clerk’s fees and fines report for the quarter ending March 31 was approved. The board adjourned to 8:30 p.m. attendees John Bunn chairman and George Wilgon auditor.

Third Day's Proceedings April 8 1908 County Board
The county board met with all members present and examined claims for approval. Petitions from M Dahms for abatement of 1906 1907 assessments on lot 12 block 4 Meriden were granted. A B Ross's petition for refund of 1906 1907 taxes on W half NE quarter Sec 27 91 40 was granted, and auditor instructed to issue refund warrant and to abate 1908 value from 3620 to 2560. Charles Guynn granted a $1 refund for 1907 dog tax. Meeting adjourned to 8:30 p m tomorrow.

Sixth Day Proceedings March 1908 Road Petitions in Willow County
The April 11 1908 proceedings note the road on the Silver township line between sections 9 and 10 is already established. Auditors to notify trustees to open and work it. Several petitions delayed or granted for new roads and changes in Pilot Spring Witlow Willow creeks with grading grants and committee appointments. An abatement of taxes for 1907 1908 on Lot 25 Block 8 Huxford addition New Cherokee was recommended by the city council.
