Floyd Glawe was elected soil conservation chairman for Pitcher township. Aurelia high school orchestra received a superior rating at the sub district music contest at Storm Lake and will participate in the district at Le Mars. Mrs Ben Wieland died at her home in Aurelia March 80 after a fall in February. Loren Johnson returned from the CCC at Ames and may stay. Wilmer Dukes of Aurelia earned a numeral in wrestling at Cedar Falls.
