L H Parker was selected as the delegate to represent Cherokee County at the state convention. Modern Woodmen held a county meeting at Cheeto kee to choose a delegate. A sorrowful farewell gathering was held Saturday night March 22 at Dr W G Bundys home for Mr Vil Kushnell and wife.
