Key figures included Acting President A Sykes and J M Brockway with Clifford Thorn presenting for the association. The group urges Iowa rates to align with Missouri and Illinois, noting Iowa has not amended rates in 17 years and that Iowa shippers pay excess charges for Chicagobound livestock, which last year totaled over 179000 cars, including more than 100000 cattle.
