Seventieth Wedding Anniversary Observed in Veedersburg
Simon Minick and his wife celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at the Christian church parlors in Veedersburg with 135 relatives and friends. The event marked a Fountain county record as the first 70th anniversary observed here, with four generations present and a feast prepared by local women. Mr. Minick, born 1822, and Mrs. Minick, born 1824, married in 1852 and have lived in Fountain County since. they remain active in memory and family despite his lifelong blindness.

Two More Wreck Victims Die From West Lebanon Crash
The March 7 wreck near West Lebanon now claims four lives. J. H. Green, a St. Louis chef, died of burns from a coffee urn after being among the first to escape. Mrs. L. H. Bryce of Toronto, 71, died from catarrhal pneumonia after prolonged entrapment and exposure. Relatives carried her body to Toronto. a dozen others remain hospitalized but improving. Ollie Copeland of Kingman left the hospital pending nose surgery.

Ann Hudson a prominent Indiana contractor with eighteen years at Newtown died in a Danville Illinois hospital after a brief illness. He was 52 to 58, friendless with four nieces as surviving relatives. A private man, he had built many large structures across the United States and had been the subject of Indianapolis press features.

Warren Bartley of Kramer died in a Williamsport doctor’s office after a hunting accident. While placing a shotgun in a buggy, the hammer discharged, tearing his right forearm. companions rushed him to a doctor but he died about 1 30 Tuesday morning. Funeral held at Chenoweth cemetery. Bartley, 26, leaves parents Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Bartley and five sisters.

Eli Stansbury executor of Ivy Highs will filed in Tippecanoe Superior Court a supplemental complaint substituting George High and others as plaintiffs in the suit to quiet title to Mrs Highs farm in Warren county where May Sheridan was defendant. The court overruled a motion for new trial and judgment was rendered in favor of the plaintiff. The defendant then filed a motion for new trial as of right.
