Born October 21 1855 in White House New Jersey he married Rachel Voorhees July 16 1868 and had four children Eila Zeigier Will George and Harry. Funeral at home 2:00 pm Rev W E McKinzie officiating Riverside cemetery interment.

Daniel Fix Dies At Home Near Poston Brick Plant
Daniel Fix died early Tuesday at his home near the Poston brick plant after months of declining health and a recent expectation of death from hardening of the arteries. Born December 3, 1834 in Reading, Pennsylvania, he moved to Attica about 25 years ago from Warren County. He married Louisa Ungerer Mertz on March 4, 1884. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at his home with Rev. W. B. McMillin of the Presbyterian church. burial followed at Riverside cemetery. Surviving are his widow, two daughters Mrs. Frank Sheetz of Wingate and Anne, a son John, a brother Martin of Johnstown, and a stepson Max Mertz of Memphis.

Death of Bernard Sackman in Keyser Saskatchewan
Bernard Sackman died early Saturday at his Keyser home after injuries from a runaway wagon and typhoid fever. He married Miss Odelia Polk a year ago in Attica and the funeral will be held in Attica at the Catholic church tomorrow morning with burial there.

Haas Wake Held After Indianapolis Death
Alonzo C. Haas died Tuesday at his Indianapolis home after months of ill health. The body was brought to Newtown for burial following services conducted by Rev. D. I. Conkle at the Presbyterian church. He was born in Northumberland County Pennsylvania, aged over 65, and leaves one brother and three sisters including Mrs. Sam Abolt of near Kramer and Mrs. B. F. Stephens of Newtown. He had lived in Fountain County as a child and spent the last twelve years in Indianapolis.

Deaths of Cornelius Lidster and Mrs. H Britt
Cornelius Lidster brother of Thomas Lidster and Mrs Minnie Shanklin of Wingate was found dead in his Danville rooms on Tuesday morning, heart trouble suspected. He was born in Waynetown fifty years ago and lived there before moving to Rossville and then Danville Illinois where he worked in streetcar service for five years. The funeral was held in Waynetown on Wednesday. Mrs H Britt died in Chicago on November 29 1918 aged 73 and was buried in Rosehill Cemetery. she was mother to Mrs A G Mitten and Mrs A J Whiteside who had lived in this city and with Mrs Mitten for years prior to 1902.

Box social raises funds for Clawson school library
The Clawson school box social on Wednesday night cleared about 17 dollars to replenish the school library with new books. Visitors included Mrs. James Lank of Oxford and Mrs. J A Henney attending the funeral of Matt VanDeventer. Local residents traveled for visits and family matters with several trips to Lafayette Mount Victory and Chicago noted. Speaking of travel, Mrs. O Neill left for Grand Bay Alabama after visiting near Kickapoo and Miss Allie Whitehall hosted overnight guests.
