Notable Indictments Mixed With Local Court Outcomes
John Carville pleaded guilty to maintaining a nuisance on North Walnut Street, then retracted to plead not guilty. Several grand jury actions were ignored, including H. C. Maxwell obtaining money under false pretenses, P. J. Keelan oppression in office, Geo. W. Holmes and E. S. Soper grand larceny. Chas. A. Robinson obtained a divorce from Sadie B. Robinson. North Olive Street to county road road opened for farmers
The north road from Olive street to the east and west county road has been settled and will open this week. Next week S G Hunters elevator grader, now on Milford road near Bear Grove township, will grade the route. Farmers traveling from the north to Atlantic welcome the improvement.
