Order on demurrer and injunction in Cass County Bank case

Emma Wiley Cushing a well known Atlantic figure from early settlement days died at her home on Saturday October 19 1895. She was a handsome educated musician mother of Edith a schoolteacher and sister of Col Joseph Wiley of Davenport. An ardent church member she faced suffering with patience and hope leaving a sister Nellie deceased and a brother in Davenport. The Des Moines Mail and Times notes her refined character and musical talent and bids a sweet sleep to one who bore tribulation with Christian faith.
