Boy Burned by Toy Cannon Powder in Park Incident
Yesterday afternoon in the park near the fountain Loren Bennett Jr. thirteen or fourteen was injured when a toy cannon exploded as he pressed the muzzle. The boy’s face bore powder burns and several grains struck the eyes. Georges Bruington carried him to Dr Porterfield for treatment as work on the new mall proceeds and a windstorm frightens many in Alba Heywood entertainment districts.

Big Green Bay Lumber shed opens and under cover work begins
A Salt Lake city reader notes the Green Bay Lumber Company has completed a mammoth lumber shed, the largest in the county and western state, with capacity for one million feet. A smaller 20 by 150 shed adds open storage, office furniture from Sam Pengo, and plans to put all timber under cover. The yard is run by experienced managers, promising courteous service and growth in Atlantic and Cass counties.
