Dr R E Rose NYIST offers all kinds of dental work with warranty and painless extractions using gas. Office located upstairs in the Wilkin building at the corner of Chestnut and Fourth streets.

Whitneys baby, Leila Shaw, Mrs. Welty, officers, jails, clerks, and teachers, plus storms, repairs, and local commerce. Several courtroom rulings touch guardianships, property transfers, and liens, while Atlantic honors Silas Wilson as a nurseryman association president.
A young farmer type visited M B Israel’s store seeking a suit and offered a $230 note for a $10-$15 suit, willing to take $200 in change. The note bore the names Peter Hopley and Joseph Battersby and was clearly forged. The suspect, Tim Burke, claimed to be new to commercial forms and showed poor spelling. He confessed to how to fill a note and appeared to be part of a larger swindle south of Atlantic, with no arrest yet but likely headed to prison.
