Mrs W Sanford hosted a summer social at her corner Popular and Sixth streets home with her sister Miss Ayres and niece Miss Myers for about fifteen Sun Day School teachers from the Industrial School. The evening featured a geography contest with forty objects, refreshments, and decorations in national colors, each guest wearing a miniature flag as a keepsake.

Class of 96 Reunion at Windsor Hotel Sparks Nostalgia
The Class of 96 held its first annual reunion on July 1, 1807 at the Windsor Hotel with 17 of 29 members present.
