Bridgeport Conn January 22 crowds clashed as five Traction employees were discharged. About 100 strikers and Jersey City recruits blocked tracks, raided yards, and attacked cars. Police were driven off as 5,900 to 10,000 residents gathered. a settlement was reached with nine men not rehired.
