Dun's Weekly Review signals cautious trade outlook
Dun's Weekly Review notes a shift toward cheap goods, a tentative exports rise in cotton due to lower prices, and a weak tone in demand as the holiday season nears. It cites Carnegie's purchase of Rockefeller’s interest in the Mesaba mine, new open hearth furnaces, and a shrinking billet pool. Wheat prices fell further after a brief rise, while various exports and stocks show mixed momentum for next year.
