Damages Paid After Livestock Neglect in Transit
Yesterday Lee Prail via attorney H M Boorman received payment from the C R I & P railroad for damages after neglect to water livestock in transit led to about ten dead hogs before reaching Chicago. The check was handed to Prail by the claim agent at Des Moines. Local items note a string of community visits, marriages, and business moves, plus weather and various notices.
