The Cass County grand jury indicted N C Field and Marion Buffington editors of the Mills County Tribune for criminal libel over a critical article about the Dickerson trial. Sheriff Card departed for Glenwood armed with warrants. Curtis has also filed a civil suit for fifteen thousand dollars against the editors.

Honest Find Returns Lost Money Reward Given
Yesterday a roll of thirty five dollars was lost by S. O. Bishop on the street. Fred Barrett found two ten dollar bills near Beaman hardware store and brought them to the Telegraph office with his mother. After description matched the loss, the money was returned to Mr. Bishop and he gave Fred five dollars as a reward. Another party may have picked up additional bills but has not reported.

The ceremony united Fred W. Kimball and Rose Jones of Pymosa township in Atlantic on December 4. Creditors of Green Bay Lumber Co. are told to charge interest on unpaid accounts after December 1, with future accounts to follow the same policy after thirty days. The New York sub treasury clerks faced a copper crisis when a dry goods house ordered 5000 pennies totaling 35 pound bags. It took three hours and about one and a half tons of pennies to fulfill the request, with workers forming long lines of copper currency. Counting pennies proved slower than handling gold or silver.
