Painful lamp accident injures C B Osborne at home
C B Osborne suffered severe burns when a hanging lamp fell from its socket as he prepared to retire. The lamp, cleaned earlier, was not properly fastened, spilling burning oil on his side and injuring his arm and leg. He remains bedbound and will miss several days of work. Nearby, catfish have swarmed up Botna to Lewis mill, drawing crowds who spear and collect them for food, potentially due to the Lewis dam preventing further migration.
