The obituary notes Lt. Spicer a graduate of Red Oak High School and junior college who attended the University of Nebraska. He is survived by two brothers Sg. Gerald Spicer in Germany and Philip at home. A B-17 co-pilot, Lt. Spicer was born in Gram and his family lived here several years. many from the community attended his services.
