Doctors hear talk by Carroll man at Cass County meeting

Dr Walter Anneberg of Carroll spoke on The Treatment of Pneumonia with Sulfo Pyridine to the Cass County Medical society at its monthly gathering in the Cameo room of Hotel Whitney. The event included dinner with visitors from Adair county.

Elliott Rites Held for Richard Rawlings at Church of Christ

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 2 PM in Elliott Iowa for Richard Rawlings 60 who died September 15 after three months in Clarinda hospital Born in Cornwall England March 7 1870 he married Minnie Thomas in Red Oak in 1900 she died 1845 then married Minnie Booth of Corning He leaves five daughters and one son plus three brothers in Nebraska Iowa and Elliott The Rev William Lee led the service with interment to follow Be present were relatives including the widow and distant kin.

Hospital News Briefs From Massena and Belgrade

Carolyn Joyce, daughter of Harold Joyce near the city, was discharged this morning from Atlantic hospital. Mrs. Harry Brower of Massena was admitted Thursday evening as a medical patient. Miss Hattie Hostetter, ill with diabetes and heart trouble at her sister's, Mrs. C. M. Baxter, improved today and regained full consciousness. Lee Carl, a Belgrade hospital patient for 11 weeks after a tractor fall, plans to visit his sister Mrs. Ray Garside this weekend. the Garsides will escort him from Belgrade.
