Harold Arthur Klevjer, 54, was committed to the state hospital at Independence as an inebriate after a tavern shooting that night. He allegedly fired four shots toward his wife at the tavern they operated. no injuries occurred. A charge of assault with intent to commit bodily harm was filed by his wife.
Charles Wolff died Aug. 26 at a Fort Morgan hospital while vacationing in Colorado with family. Born Jan. 25, 1476 in West Salem HL, he spent 19 years in Audubon as an Audubon Milling employee. Survivors include his wife two sisters and four brothers. Burial and services were in Fort Morgan.
