They refused to consider a petition for a preliminary survey for Nishnabotna river drainage and authorized bids for a box culvert. A funding bond of 27000 was approved with Schanke Company the bid winner. officers and deputies were appointed and bonds approved for several positions.
The board examined and authorized payments including a tax rebate of 8650 to Solomon Charles Bett Grove Charity. Auditor Wiese to issue warrants for approved items such as road repairs, bridge work, channeling, patrols, pensions, and various supplier bills totaling numerous amounts.
