Military Rites Held at Christian Church for Pfe Anderson

Service groups conducted a 2 p m funeral at the Christian church with Rev. Joel Boone officiating. The singers gave In the Garden and The Old Rugged Cross, with Mrs Eric Osen as accompanist. Casket bearers included Boyd Falconer, Lauren Beaver, Dean Arnett, Walter Dorsey, Roger Eddy and Lee Duff. Final rites followed at Anita Evergreen cemetery with Legion officers in charge. Taps were played by Rex Turner. Four men who took part, Falconer, Beaver, Arnett and Harvey Scholl, were Pfe Anderson’s former Anita High School classmates.
