Wilber Moore was captured four miles west of Dunlap by Sheriff Rock and others after stealing a team and a covered wagon, plus other goods from Persia and nearby areas. He surrendered to Sheriff Eggleston who transported him to Clark County. The stolen team belonged to Howe near Osceola. Moore had issued a worthless check to return goods to Dunlap merchants.
