Hint of New Evidence in Eaton Murder Trial
Plymouth Massachusetts October 18 A hint at evidence not yet received was offered by the state during the murder trial of Mrs Jennie May Eaton. It concerns a typewritten document said to have vanished from the Eaton home after Rear Admiral Eaton's death. Dorothy Ainsworth, Mrs Eaton's daughter, was questioned by District Attorney Barker about the paper, and the defense objected while the district attorney pressed to have the document introduced later. A search after the admiral's death sought a will dated after the probate filing that would have left his property to the widow and his stepdaughters.

Blind Spiritualist Found Guilty of Murder in Arkansas
In Glenwood, Arkansas, F. G. Ferrell a blind spiritualist was convicted of murder in the death by own action pact that killed Mrs. T. J. Turner and Miss Rucda Carter on September 14. Turner the husband admitted giving poison after the pact to die together. he recovered and testified Ferrell had encouraged the plan through seances. The state argued motive was to gain Turner's property deeded to Ferrell.
