President elect Dwight D. Eisenhower and Gov. Thomas E. Dewey will meet in Augusta on Friday to discuss the general s forthcoming Korea trip and other policy matters. Hagerty said no cabinet talks or departure date for Korea were disclosed.

Last Rites for Former Elliott Woman Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. George Wollenhaupt 87 who died Monday at Wapello will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Wagler funeral home. Neva Wollenhaupt born July 23 1885 lived in Massena and Elliott before moving to Wapello. Surviving are her husband four children including Arlin and Burton. Burial in Massena cemetery.
