The Cass County Board of Supervisors met October 23 1916 with D J Bode as chair and members Biggs Highley Bell and McCaustland present. They approved selling Cedar Street lot 9 block 30 Atlantic for 625 per bid, contracting bridge work with Frank Breece at set rates, and a large drainage and bridge project with Jacob M Dickinson as Receiver of the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company. Also approved electric line permission to Olive Street road and numerous county expense and tax-related claims and reports.
