Fred C Franklin 72, farmer from southwest of Atlantic, died at 8 this morning in Memphis Tennessee after being in Marine Hospital for a month. He was born January 17, 1876 in Grove township, lifelong resident, active in Church of Christ and Masonic orders. Survived by wife Ida J Helms, two sons Robert and Harold, siblings, and grandchildren Phyllis and James Edward. Remains to travel to Omaha for funeral arrangements pending.
