Walnut Iowa May 17 Special Cancer has caused the death of Parker F Philson one of the old settlers of Jackson township. He had been ill for months. Helen Cox Mahoney, 25, daughter of former Gov. James M. Cox, Democratic presidential candidate, died suddenly at her Oakwood home near Dayton. She had been in good health and her death came without warning. Her husband, Dy Ty Mahoney, is general manager of the former governor’s newspaper in Dayton.
