Avak the Great a 20 year old bearded Armenian healer travels from New York via plane to Los Angeles to assist Vaughn Arakelian 37 whose family has spent about 250000 over 27 years seeking a cure. Arakelian was struck by a bus at age 10 and has paralysis and other ailments despite top doctors. Avak plans to visit Palm Springs after Los Angeles. He says his work is by prayer with God’s help.
The Square Deal hardware store was robbed Saturday night through the rear door and about $150 taken from the safe. This marks the second robbery in a month after Peppers Tavern was entered.
