Local inquest opened into Mrs Barner death near manse
Jay Martelle reports local authorities will hold an inquest tomorrow into the death of Mrs. John Barner who was shot and killed instantly by a shotgun in her husband Barner’s hands near the farm. Barner, a wealthy retired farmer, had been showing a hunting gun when it discharged while unloading. He had kept the gun in the house for some time and stated he had never handled it before this incident.
