Cambridge, Mass March 18.4 The fossil tooth of a prehistoric elephant found in Vermont in 1849 and presented to Harvard's Zoological Museum was only recently returned. It first went to Louis Agassiz, then to Dr C J Warren who kept it in his collection. Warren's collection later went to J P Morgan, then to New York.
