Thirty five years ago today June 24 1882 the Atlantic high school completed its fifth annual commencement at Bacon's opera house. School board members graduates and guests listened to orations as Prof McConnell praised the class. W Johnson travels to Florence, Nebraska for sister James Patterson’s illness. Mrs F M Giltner and daughter from Winfield visit James Schofield’s family.
