The annual Memorial service of the Atlantic Fire Department honors members who have died. The event, held the second Sunday in June, takes place at City Hall and Torturn with an address by B A Goodspeed and prayers by Rev J K Driver. A male quartet will provide music before graves at the cemetery are strewn with flowers. The Veteran Fireman organization assists as the old department is disbanded and invites the general public.
