Students' cruise ends in tragedy off California coast
A Balboa harbor report says two girls were feared drowned and 14 others, mostly children, were rescued when a 60 foot cruiser carrying 23 youngsters and escorts capsized near Catalina. Coast guard accounts note gas tank drainage and a jolting maneuver that sent 16 overboard before life rafts and nearby boats aided survivors. Missing include Dr Victor Mann and 12 year old Geraldine Clark.
