Former Anita Boy Killed in Action in France
Special to the News-Telegraph Anita, June 7 Fred M. Davis formerly lived in Anita and was a bugler in Company C 168th Infantry. He died in action in France May 27 at about age 20. His father Rev J F Davis was pastor of the Anita Methodist church about sixteen years ago.
