An Orient fable tells of a wolf fox and lion who capture a goat stag and hare. The wolf divides spoils unfavorably to the lion, who then commands the fox to divide. The fox allocates hare for the lion and stag for his own meal, prompting the lion to praise the fox for learned equity and recall the wolf as the source of the method.

In Fargo North Dakota on June 5 A S French former cashier at Farmers National Bank of Ellendale ND was sentenced to five years in federal prison for misappropriating bank funds.
