Dewey Returns Home After Governors Conference
Gov. K. Dewey traveled to New York from Pennsylvania after the 16th governors conference where he remained unofficially "non political" yet seen as the front runner for the GOP nomination. He helped resolve a states rights dispute, backed federal programs, and the group urged quick local control restoration and a federal state tax commission.
