They pleaded guilty in Federal Court to entering Melvin Savings Bank on December 20, 1958 and the Benton County Savings Bank at Norway, taking 1250 dollars at Melvin and a small sum at Norway. The Blairstown post office was not robbed. The pair admitted nearly 60 burglaries and robberies. Police said 44 sheriffs in Iowa, Uk noig and Wisconsin sought them before charges.
Thirty two American Field Service students from foreign countries will leave Cedar Rapids on Wednesday after a three day visit. They will take a one and a half day bus trip ending in New York where they will embark for their homes.

Hans Einert Hansen 65, Atlantic area farmer, died Tuesday afternoon in Littleton Colorado while living with relatives. Born near Elk Horn September 30, 1883, he married Christina Daugaard in 1916. Survived by wife, son Ernie E Hansen, three daughters, a brother, a sister and seven grandchildren.
Former Teamsters boss Dave Beck did not appear for a plea on charges he accepted 200000 dollars from two truck executives while leading the union. A federal judge issued an arrest warrant immediately.

Oakley Teater of Austin Texas repaid a 50 cent debt to the Agriculture Department cafeteria in Washington incurred during a 1937 visit. Dr Ellis L Klein of the Naval Research Laboratory, traveling with Teater, recalled the unpaid meal and prompted payment.
