Iowa State undefeated wrestling team defeated Wisconsin 46 to 8 in Ames. Dickerson won two falls in 2:00 and 1:22 at 135 pounds, Loucks won decis ion and two falls at 125, Bowen claimed two falls at 145, Barker won 175 with a fall and a decision, and Wallace earned two falls at heavyweight. Iowa State also topped Wisconsin in the 158 match as Groth won a decision. Iowa State two mile relay beat Notre Dame in Chicago for the middle western title and a trophy from the Illinois Athletic Club.
