John W. Crowley of Ames, 38, was sentenced to 10 years in the Iowa Penitentiary and then paroled for embezzling 6162 dollars from the Story County Soldiers Relief Fund where he served as secretary. Judge John Schapp imposed the sentence and granted bench parole.
