Dark Town Show at City Hall Opens Tonight

The Dark Town Show opens at 8 15 tonight and continues tomorrow in Atlantic city hall auditorium in a grand minstrel production with songs jokes and dancing. The cast includes many performers and half will be women some in blackface. Ten songs form the first part with solo performances and a chorus. The second part features specialty acts and skits. Tickets sold well with a wrist watch contest drawing bidders from the audience for prizes. Proceeds benefit the Atlantic beat. Tonight and tomorrow night only. Montgomery County Sells $87 000 Bonds

Montgomery County sold 70000 bonds to cover a deficit from road expenditures. Overdrafts total 86157.45 with the largest in the bridge fund. Bonds carry 5 percent interest and will be retired between 1928 and 1987.
